Virgil van Dijk has been given an extra game ban plus some fines

Virgil van Dijk set to miss another game plus fines.

Virgil van Dijk has been awarded with another extra game ban including an appreciable sum of money for using some form of abusive words on the referee for showing him a red card.

On the third round league matches saw Liverpool on the road going to play against Newcastle united ended up earning Virgil van Dijk his first ever English premier red card in the early stages of the game.

Virgil van Dijk made a run towards the Newcastle player and in an attempt to win the ball, he missed his timed challenge and his legs smashed the player down right on the edge of the eighteen yard box which led to the referee whistling for a foul and showing his red card to Virgil.

Liverpool’s newest appointed captain after the exit of Jordan Henderson to the Saudi league, Virgil van Dijk lost it totally on the field which led to him using abusive words on the officials of the day.

However, Van Dijk has been fined £100,000 for his actions on the field even though he apologized to the officials after the game.
