CAPE COAST, GHANA – In a notable display of leadership and community service, student political leader Elisaphet Kwabena Opare and his teammates organized a significant donation event on April 11, 2024, at the University of Cape Coast.
The event took place at the campus mosque, strategically located opposite Sasakawa, where many students and faculty members gathered to witness and participate in the charitable act.
Elisaphet Opare, the president known for his active involvement in student politics and community engagement, spearheaded the initiative as part of his ongoing commitment to contribute positively to the university environment.

In celebration of Eid, the project led by President, Eli and his teammates, collectively known as “Team Eli,” focused on collecting and distributing various educational and religious materials.
This initiative aimed to support the Islam community on the University of Cape Coast Campus and to enrich their spiritual experiences at the university.
The donation event featured a ceremony with brief speeches by Eli, who highlighted the importance of community support and the role of leadership in promoting an atmosphere of generosity and cooperation.
The attendees expressed their appreciation for the efforts and highlighted the impact such contributions have on enhancing student life and education.
Who is Elisaphet Kwabena Opare?
Elisaphet Kwabena Opare is a level 300 Bachelor of Commerce Management student at the University of Cape Coast.
He is actively involved with the University of Cape Coast Association of Business Students and is currently an aspirant for the position of SRC Treasurer.
His engagement in student leadership and his academic pursuit in commerce management highlight his commitment to contributing positively to his academic and social environments.
