The president have nominated new chief justices to join the Supreme court —Rockson Dafeamekpor
The Member of Parliament, Dafeamekpor has made claims of the president allegedly electing new chief justice to the supreme court
The member of Parliament for south Dayi and a Ranking member on the parliamentary Affairs committee, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has revealed to the public the over the office of the presidency nominating new chief justices to the highest court of the land.
That notwithstanding, under the fourth republic, H.E Nana Addo Danquah name has been written in the history books as the only president to appoint more justices to the supreme court.
The lawmaker, Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor shared these claims into public through his socials saying:
“My impeccable sources at the presidency has it that, the president has nominated the following for the supreme court:
“1.Henry Kwofie 2.Adjei Frimpong 3.Asare A.Yaw Darko”.
These are the following names Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor mentioned as newly nominated chief justice who will under go vetting in parliament in the subsequent days to be approved to join the highest court of the land, Supreme court.
