Mason Mount react to why he chose to wear the number seven shirt in Manchester united
England and former Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount has reacted to why he decided to play for Manchester united in the jersey number seven.
According to Mason, he has been a lover of the former Manchester united’s legend, David Beckham who during his time at Manchester united wore number seven. He claimed he’s is prepared to accomplish himself in his new jersey number at Manchester united.
“Of course i know the pressure that comes with number 7 shirt….. but i like it! I want to perform in it and it is massive, massive club and an iconic number so it really means a lot to me. I have been a fan of the likes of Beckham growing up” Mount said.
Mason Mount motioned from the London club, Chelsea football club to join Manchester united in the summer transfer window. He hasn’t seen much of a playing time due to lack of match fitness. Mount believes he’s going to leave an indelible ink in Manchester united through hard work.
