Arsenal football club have been able to reach an agreement with their captain, Martin odegaard for a new contract extension.
Martin odegaard joined Arsenal football club on an initial loan deal from Real Madrid in January 2021, and he made an instant impact at the London club. He quickly established himself as an important player in the team, impressing the fans and pundits with his performances hence, securing a permanent deal with Arsenal.
Further, Odegaard’s performance on the field has earned him the leadership role in the Arsenal set up. He aided the club in securing a UEFA champions league spot after Arsenal missing out in the past few years.
Martin Odegaard inks a five years long term contract with the London club. His contract would be in existence until June,2028.
Martin Odegaard has expressed his delight in extending his stay with Arsenal FC.
“Signing a new contract was really easy decision for me, what we are doing right now as a club is special, and i want to be part of that” Martin Odegaard said.
