Manchester city completes the signing of Matheus Nunes from wolves
Manchester city have completed the signing of Matheus Nunes from Wolverhampton wanderers on a permanent contract.
The Portuguese and Wolves midfielder has crossed from the camp of a mid table league team, wolves to the treble winners, Manchester city on a long term contract.
Matheus Nunes has ink a five years contract with Manchester city, binding him to the club until June 2028.
Manchester city reached an agreement with wolves for a total transfer package of €62million for Nunes.
“The opportunity to work under Pep Guardiola, one of the greatest managers ever, and alongside some of the best players in the world was something I simply couldn’t turn down” Matheus Nunes said.
“I learnt so much during my season at wolves and am excited to continue improving in the premier league, a division that brings out the best out of me.”
Manchester city closed in on Nunes after the hunt for Lucas Paqueta from West Ham united broke down. Meanwhile, Pep has also lost one of his key member in midfield, Kevin De Bruyne due to injury which is going to keep him out for four months.
