Liverpool football club were in action with Leicester city in the Carabao cup Yesterday, 27 September 2023 at thier home grounds, Anfield stadium.
Liverpool progressed into the next stage of the competition by thrashing championship side, Leicester in a convincing 3-1 score line.
Leicester city took the lead at an early stages for Liverpool to pick up the pieces and stage a wonderful come back.
Liverpool’s summer signing, Dominik Szoboszlai was arguably the outstanding player in the fiercely contested match. He was able to find the net through a ferocious shot from a long distance into the left-top corner of the goal.
Liverpool’s manager, Jurgen Klopp praised Dominik Szoboszlai for proving his worth and talent to the world.
“Since the first minute in training, he was impressive — he is a top player, top guy, confident boy” Jurgen said.
Klopp applauded Dominik for his hard work he put’s up in every minute he spends on the field to help his team win.
“He is really a super hard worker, you can see it — as he is always pressing and also pushing hard to win the ball” Jurgen Klopp added.
