Early Life
Jayana was born into a family deeply rooted in the world of gospel music. She is the second daughter of the Late Bishop Dr. Augustine Annor-Yeboah, founder of the Christian Praise International Centre (CPIC) and a former Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC). Growing up in a family of singers and under the guidance of a Reverend minister, Jayana’s formative years were filled with the sounds of contemporary gospel and praise and worship. Her upbringing laid the foundation for her deep connection to gospel music and her strong faith.
Music Career
Jayana’s musical journey took a significant turn when she participated in the maiden edition of the popular Ghanaian music talent show, Charterhouse’s “Stars of The Future” television show. In this competition, she competed alongside notable artists like Efya, Irene Logan, and Ramzy Prince, among others, and emerged as a finalist. This experience showcased her exceptional talent and set the stage for her future success in the music industry.
Over the years, Jayana has graced major music platforms and stages, leaving her mark with her powerful and soulful voice.
