Marco Verratti breaks silence on why he exited PSG
Marco Verratti has broken silence on reasons which led to him exiting Paris Saint Germain football club during the summer transfer window.
Verratti has been a key player in all success chopped by Paris Saint Germain in the last decade. Winning the Ligue-one, several other domestic and playing in the UEFA champions final in 2020 which they lost to Bayern Munich.
However, he was compelled to join the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Arabi on a permanent transfer fee of €45 million due to internal issues.
According to Verratti, Paris st Germain’s new manager, Luis Enrique informed him of not been part of his new project.
“I spoke to Luis Enrique and he told me that i was not part of his plans. He is a great coach, I respect that” Marco said.
Marco revealed that, the coach gave him the green light to join any other club of his choice.
“He just told me that he wanted to change. I had been at PSG for many years, that he wanted something new. For me, things never happen by chance” Verratti added.
