As Monaco finalize negotiations to secure the services of Arsenal’s center forward, Folarin Balogun on a permanent transfer deal.
Folarin Balogun was sent on a long season loan from Arsenal to Reims in the French Ligue-one. He was arguably the best player for Reims. Folarin was part of the top goals scorers in the French Ligue-one last season.
Further, Folarin Balogun has attracted in the last few weeks have attracted interest from top European clubs but however, negotiations broke down due to Arsenal’s valuation of the player.
As Monaco negotiated with Arsenal and have been able to reach an agreement for Folarin Balogun on a permanent transfer deal of €40 million including add-ons.
Arsenal FC would have a significant percentage of a possible future Sell-on if Monaco decide to sell Balogun in the near future. Folarin Balogun is expected to undergo medical test in order to complete his move to Monaco.
