Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has broken his silence on how close Manchester united was in securing the services of certain top class players in the world now at a lower value
The Manchester united legend and former manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken out certain revelation with respect to how Manchester united missed out on not securing certain players in the past.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was given the responsibility of a care taker manager in December, 2018 after Manchester united sacked josé Mourinho. Due to his ability to bring out the best of the players which in turn brought our series of wins, he finally given the job as the permanent manager of the club in March 2019.
Manchester united gave him a three years contract which he agreed upon. Ole managed to help the team reach one Europa cup final and was able to place second and a third position in the English premier league in his first and second season respectively.
However, during his spell at the club, Manchester united were linked to certain phenomenal and young talented footballers like Erling Haaland, Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has indicated to the public on the reason these super talented players who are making it happen in the world of football never joined the club at the early stages of their career.
“Erling Haaland, before he made his Salzburg debut. Declan Rice, who wouldn’t have cost what he did in the summer. We discussed Moises Caicedo but we felt we needed players who are ready”. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer iterated.
