Manchester united’s manager, Erik Ten Hag spells out his honest thought on why united recruited the services of the young talented center forward, Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.
Rasmus Hojlund is one of the new signings made by Manchester united; he is a youngster who has proven in his young professional career to be one of the natural prolific finisher in the game.
However, one of the areas that the Manchester united set up fell short in last season campaign was the center forward position. At a point, in the last six months of the 2022/23 season, the club secured a loan deal for weghorst who did not live up to expectations.
In this summer transfer window, Manchester united have invested a whooping sum of €75 million fee for Rasmus Hojlund. The club believes the signing of the young center forward is a project for the future.
The manager for Manchester united, Erik Ten Hag had this to say with respect to why the club signed Rasmus Hojlund:
