Dreams FC secures a spot in the next round of the CAF confederation preliminary stages

Dreams FC have been able to secure a spot in the next round of the CAF confederation preliminary stages which paves a way for them to join the competition proper.
The Ghanaian football club, Dreams FC is the representative of the Ghana premier in the CAF confederation league 2023/24 campaign have been able to secure a 2-1 victory in the second-leg prelims game against Milo FC at the Accra, in the Accra sports stadium on Sunday, 27 August 2023.
By the end of the first half, the visitors, Milo FC had been up by a goal which at that point was more than enough to qualify them into the next round if they had been able to defend well.
However, with the roaring fans and the fighting spirit of the home side, Dreams FC came back in the second half of the game very stronger. Dreams FC found the equalizer through the spot by a foul which was caused by the opponent in the eighteen yard box on the 85th minutes and it was converted nicely through B.Agyenim.
In the nick of time, Dreams FC had pulled the strings for them to take the lead for the first time in the game on the 90th minute through their very own, John Antwi.
With the awarded additional time of 5 minutes by the center referee, it wasn’t enough for Milo FC to find the equalizer for the game to move into extra time hence, the game ended in a 2-1 victory for Dreams FC.
Dreams FC has qualified into the next round with an aggregate of 3-2. Congratulations to Dreams for making dreams of Ghanaians a reality.
