Ansu Fati claims De Zerbi was the main reason he join Brighton
The Spanish international, Ansu Fati has iterated that, De Zerbi was the main reason he took the decision of joining the English Premier league club, Brighton.
The Brighton and Hove Albion hijacked Ansu Fati’s deal when the Spanish and the Barcelona forward was close to joining Athletico Madrid on loan.
Ansu Fati has cleared the air saying, Brighton and Hove Albion’s manager, De Zerbi was the main factor he decided to join Brighton on loan.
The FC Barcelona’s number ten shirted man, Fati has been struggling to gain more playing time under Xavi Hernandez. Ansu Fati initiated a season loan move to Brighton and Hove Albion.
One significant factor for Ansu to join Brighton was him to have more playing time and to develop his game in arguably the best league in the world, the English premier league.
“I spoke to De Zerbi — he said he has full confidence in me and told me what he thought about me. That was a key factor.” Ansu said.
Ansu Fati further said, De Zerbi played a vital role in convincing him to consider a move to Brighton and Hove Albion.
“He was the main person who convinced me to come here with what he said, how he sees me as a player, and what i can improve on.” He Said.
