Dani Alves to be charged officially by the Spanish court
Dani Alves would be charged officially today, Wednesday.
Dani Alves will be formally charged in court today, Wednesday, 2nd August,2023. Prosecutors are going to determine his trial date which could be later this year or early this year including his charges.
After thorough investigation conducted with respect to Dani assaulting a lady in a club at Barcelona on December 30,2022, a judge has found evidence of wrong doings.
Dani Alves would be indicted today after being informed by the judge’s decision on the case. Prosecutors would finally specify the charges and set the date for trials.
The former Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint Germain and several other clubs have denied any wrong doings and iterated that sex with the complainant was consensual.
Alves was denied bail hence, he remains in jail awaiting trials.
The judge opted for Dani Alves to be jailed after analyzing the initial investigations conducted and listening to testimonies and eye witnesses. The court believe that flirting should not “in any way justify an eventual sexual assault.”
