Manchester united on Saturday, 19 of August 2023 travelled to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium to face Tottenham Hotspur FC in their second league game of the season which ended in a 0-2 defeat.

Their captain, Bruno Fernandes after the game in a post match interview expressed his displeasure with the officials of the day for their bad officiating.

Bruno Fernandes made claims over the center referee denying them of a penalty and several other instance of fouls which would have been an opportunity for them to go on to win or even share a point with Tottenham Hotspur FC.

“Last week they made a big thing on not having a [Wolves] penalty. I want to see what is going to happen this week if it’s going to happen the same as last week.

“I want to see if Jon Moss also comes to apologize to our dressing room like they said he did to the manager of Wolves.”
