𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Arsenal are exploring a deal to sign Kingsley Coman before the transfer window shuts.

Arsenal may intensify their pursuit of Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman after a recent transfer development. The Gunners have already added four players this summer and are looking to strengthen their attack if a suitable opportunity presents itself, with Coman being a potential target.

Bayern Munich has made the French winger available for transfer, either through a permanent deal or a season-long loan. However, after spending nearly £100 million on new signings like Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori, and David Raya, Arsenal may not have the funds for another expensive permanent deal.

The potential £27 million sale of Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham and Eddie Nketiah’s rumored £30 million move to Crystal Palace could provide some financial relief, though a temporary deal might be more feasible if Arsenal decides to pursue Coman.

While several European clubs have shown interest in Coman, Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal appeared to be close to finalizing a deal. Reports suggested Coman had accepted their offer, with Bayern Munich seeking between £42 million (€50m) and £50.5 million (€60m) to complete the transfer. However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano quoted Coman’s agent, Christian Emile, denying these claims, stating, “It’s not true. Kingsley has not accepted any bid at this stage.” This statement offers Arsenal hope that a deal could still be reached before the transfer deadline.

With Fabio Vieira’s departure to Porto, a spot in Mikel Arteta’s squad may open up, particularly as Vieira often provided cover for Bukayo Saka on the wing. This could also mean that Ethan Nwaneri’s chances for more playing time in midfield remain unaffected.
