Manchester united suspend's Anthony until investigation are completed and he is vindicated
Manchester united has sidelined Anthony due to allegations of sexual assault by his Ex-girl friend
Anthony has been sidelined by his club, Manchester united due to allegations of sexual assault by his Ex-girl friend, Gabriela Cavallin and two other ladies in his country, Brazil.
Investigation into the alleged abuse committed by Anthony has been initiated since last week by the police. However, Manchester united as a club has always condemned any form of violence hence, has suspended the £80 million winger until thorough investigation has been committed and he has been vindicated of no wrong doings.
In a club statement release on the 10th of September, 2023 indicated Manchester united’s position on this case
“Manchester united acknowledges the allegations made against Anthony. He will delay his return until further notice in order to address the allegations.
“As a club we condemn acts of violence and abuse.”
