The tennis star, Andy Murray has expressed his extreme delight with respect to Leonel Messi’s influence on the MLS.
The FC Barcelona legend refused to extend his contract with the French Ligue-one side, Paris Saint Germain and also didn’t have patience in waiting for his former club, FC Barcelona to try and clear their financial books in order for him to join them.
However, the Argentine forward denied him self the opportunity to be the world’s most paid athlete by not agreeing to join the Saudi Arabian league.
Leonel Messi joined David Beckham’s club, Inter Miami in the MLS. Ever since he joined, he has been super both on and off the pitch.
Aiding inter Miami in winning their first ever trophy and performing well in the league.
Andy Murray granting an interview to ESPN after his elimination in the US open had agreed to the fact that, he has been a fan to of Leonel Messi.
“I have been following Leonel Messi a lot, it’s been unbelievable. He does it everywhere he goes. My feeling is that he will capture the imagination of the American public because of the way he plays. People will appreciate his amazing abilities and vision.” Andy Murray said.
